In its research and teaching, our social geography working group focusses on the relationships between space and society. The current focus is on geographic trade research, geographic health research, digitalisation, demographic developments, social networks in cultural education as well as methodology and modelling. We place particular emphasis on application and on an education that conveys content and methods at the intersection of the subject with cultural/social sciences and geoinformatics.
