Soundscape project

Project presentation

The Soundscape project is part of a comprehensive investigation into the interaction between the acoustic environment and human perception in urban spaces. The project aims to capture the physiological and psychological influence of soundscapes on the well-being of people in urban public spaces.

A combination of social science surveys, AI-supported sound analysis and geoinformatic methods will be used to gain a better understanding of the acoustic environment. In addition to pure noise pollution, the research focuses in particular on positive acoustic factors and their influence on the perception of urban spaces
